· 26.05.2026

At the southern tip of the Albanian Riviera, Ksamil is famous for its shallow, brilliantly clear bays and a cluster of small islands just offshore — close enough to reach by a short swim, a pedalo or a boat.

The little coves fill up fast in July and August, so arrive early to claim a spot, or visit in June or September for warm water and more room. Bring snorkelling gear — the sea is calm and easy to explore.

Good to know: Ksamil is a few minutes from Butrint and around 20 minutes from Sarandë, making it a perfect base for the far south.
